If you want to practice the management of your emotional and spiritual estate there are tried and true Christian methods.
First, consider your God.
He is vast, and powerful. He knows all things, hears all things, sees all things and considers. He is the “big God” of the Bible and not the small god of human imagination. He is all wise and in ways even beyond human understanding. Read a Psalm and contemplate the greatness of not just the God that exists – but that The God that exists is yours.
Second, consider Jesus.
That the great God of all flesh was and is for you, manifest in human flesh, knowing your sorrows and temptations. That he who is fully God and fully man is known by you, and you are known by him. He knows you personally and every hair on your head is numbered; not a sparrow falls to the ground apart from the will of your Heavenly Father.
Third, consider your salvation.
That in Christ crucified the son of God has died for you, so neither neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That when you walk you walk with Christ.
That where you go you go in Christ.
That every danger is blunted, every snare uncovered , every trap is foiled, every enemy conquered and death itself is overcome by him.
So that the Christian whatever may come will be at peace in all circumstances
Knowing their God and hope.
