Brokenness and Sanctification (Dark Nights of the Soul)

Sanctification is process that will not be completed on this side of heaven, which means that right now we still have issues of sin that the Lord is dealing with. This video looks at some of the things a true Child of God can face when God deals with us in our sinfulness. Even though these times can be the darkest of nights for the believer, they are also some of the most precious as the Lord works in us great progress in our sanctification much of which comes through brokenness.

  1. What you said is True if you haven’t been being Born again of the Spirit! You may be religious, but not Saved. (Romans-6-1) What shall be say then? Shall we continue in sin that Grace might abound? (2) GOD FORBID: How can we who are dead to sin, live in longer therein?

(11Thess-2-13) But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because He has from the beginning chosen you to Salvation through Sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth. Sanctification is one’s Salvation!

(1Peter-1-2) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through Sanctification of the Spirit, unto Obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace be multiplied.

(Romans-8-29) For whom He did foreknow He did also predestinate to be Conformed like unto the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brethren.

(Galatians-5-5) For we through the SPIRIT wait for the Hope of Righteousness by Faith. (Ephesians-3-16) That He (Christ) would grant you, according to the Riches of His Glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in your inner man. Sanctification! (Galatians-5-16) Walk in His Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of flesh! GOD’S TRUE GRACE!

(Romans-5-17) For if by one man’s offences death regined by one; much more they which receive aboundance of Grace AND the GIFT of Righteousness shall reign in Life by One, Jesus Christ. (Romans-6-22) But now being made FREE from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruits unto Holiness, and the end Everlasting Life. (23) For the wages of sin is Death: but the GIFT (of righteousness) of God; is Eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD.

The work of the devil in today’s Apostate Church has deceived you! (11Thess-2-3-12) That they all might be damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (Ephesians-2-2) Wherein in Time Past we walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the “spirit that now works” in the children of disobedience. (3) Among ‘whom’ we all had our conversation in Time Past in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by Nature the children of Wrath, even as other. ‘SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST’

May our Lord, Jesus Christ make His Truths known to you, that you might be saved. (James-1-5-6) Trust no man with your salvation. (1Corin-1-30-31)

  2. David was in the old covenant, Waiting for Messiah, the only hope of salvation. (Hebrews-10-1-7) the could not take away sin. The Spirit came and went in the old covenant, in the New, Jesus said, I will never leave you. Messiah has come, we are without excuse. Remember, Jesus told us of the old testament saints, Lazarus and the rich man. (Luke-16-22-31) Lazarus died and was carried by angels into Abraham’s bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried, in Hell he lift up his eyes, being in torment, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. There was a great gulf fixed so that they that would pass from hence to you cannot, neither can they pass to us that would come thence. God allowed Abraham to conmfort old testament saints who were Waiting for God’s Promise of Messiah.

When Jesus was Raised up from the death, so were they! (Matthew-27-52-53) And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of their graves after His Resurrection, and went into the Holy City and appeared unto many. Think of how many years from the Promise and His coming, Now that’s what you call faith!

In the New Covenant, Jesus said to us: (John-14-1-4) In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you, unto Myself that where I am, there you may be also.
