This ruling is sad, hopefully they appeal this decision. If I were a parent in California I would move before I would let the state force me to put my kids in public or private schools.

I’m so glad you posted this. I’ve been struggling with whether or not to h/s my children this upcoming school year. I’ve been trying to stay updated on this issue.
We’re praying and hoping this ruling will be reversed.
